Marketing Manager Job Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the entire marketing program of Ascend Staffing, for both B2C (applicant/recruitment) and B2B (prospect/client) marketing, as well as the Ascend Staffing brand.

This position manages 7 direct reports, a digital marketing team of 3, a recruiter team of 2, and a B2B development team of 2. The Marketing Manager oversees all campaigns, ad spend, marketing resources and budgets, and ensures Ascend Staffing meets its recruitment and prospect marketing goals.

Marketing Manager Duties / Responsibilities 

• Oversee team of 7 to execute the recruitment and B2B marketing operations of Ascend Staffing
• Manage marketing budget to fill client orders for candidates and find and business develop for new clients
• Oversee marketing reporting, compile reports on KPI's for all marketing functions
• Oversee campaigns and ads on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft (PPC & social media campaigns)
• Manage Sense marketing automation tool, develop automated journeys to support recruitment, sales, and operations functions
• Develop and maintain training program for new internal employees involved in recruiting
• Manage internal help-desk ticketing system to support branch offices with their marketing needs
• Manage the brand and PR of Ascend Staffing, oversee creation of digital assets and signage as needed

Marketing Manager Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field
• Digital marketing expert, comfortable with PPC & social media advertising
• Proven experience with both B2C and B2B marketing
• Comfortable using WordPress, or experience managing website/CMS
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and digital tracking and analytics generally
• Able to perform advanced analysis - expert with Excel/Google Sheets
• Able to lead a team and accomplish goals in new or ambiguous environment - self starter
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• Exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Experience with Google Data Studio preferred
• Marketing automation software experience preferred (especially Sense)
• Staffing/recruiting experience preferred
