KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participates on Procurement special projects Ability to process large groups of data in multiple spreadsheets, understanding the purpose and role of each spreadsheet to avoid cross contaminating the information Must be able to perform functions within Excel including formatting, filtering, V-lookups, IF, CountIF, conditional formatting, hide/unhide Must be able to think critically to find and fix errors Understanding of contractual terminology Ability to work independently Demonstrates the ability to work efficiently in an analytical role TEAM Reports to: Senior Continuous Improvement Manager REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Must be at least 18 years of age Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or an equivalent Overall GPA of a 3.0 or greater Experience with spreadsheets and MS Office applications PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience with Procurement / Supply Chain analytics Previous work experience via internship or co-op REQUIRED SKILLS Strong decision making skills, and use of sound logic to communicate effectively Should be able to prioritize and perform responsibilities Results driven with analytical skills and the desire to simplify/improve current process and practices TARGETED OUTCOMES Project completion from start to finish Skills Summary: About Us: Ascend Performance Materials is the premium provider of high quality chemicals, fibers and plastics.
