Asbury Pharmacy is Hiring a Demand Planning Analyst Near Irvington, NY

Bright Farms is at the forefront of transforming the supply chain for leafy greens in the United States. The Company currently operates 16 acres of production through 6 farms in the northeast and Midwest and is building 5 new regional hubs that will increase the Company’s production by 60 acres over the next 2 years. Our supply chain is driven by fanatical customer service. We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, self-motivated individual who will lead, manage, and execute the Operations activities with the suppliers and the business team for uninterrupted daily operations.

The Demand Planning Analyst works closely with the sales, marketing, and operation teams to produce plans and models to estimate the future demand for products and order fulfillment. The role is responsible for ensuring business continuity in relation to Revenue Targets, Product Mix, and Finished Good Supply and Inventory. Other responsibilities include oversight and management of data and statistical analysis. These areas of focus include but are not limited to Sales Trends, Seasonality, Cultivation/Pond Mapping, and Data Inputs for Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) Meetings. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Director of Demand Planning and is based in your home office with up to 1-2 days per week in our beautiful, dog friendly Irvington, NY office just steps away from the Metro North Hudson line and easily commutable from the tri state region.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains data of demand factors forecasting for inventory, production, promotions, seasonality, and order fulfillment.
  • Work with team members to plan, coordinate, and execute demand planning activities.
  • Liaison to Marketing relating to New Product forecasting and sales projections.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning models as the primary forecasting tool for cross functional departments.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales on revenue plans, track execution, and call out risks when off-track.
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer Service to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Coordinate efforts with cross functional teams to validate forecasting accuracy.
  • Conduct forecast maintenance and communicate important changes in forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Monitor, report, and address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner 
  • Implement and execute demand planning processes, data collection and tracking KPIs.
  • Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Use trend/variance root cause analysis to make corrective actions and improvements. 
  • Contribute to future development of Sales and Operations Planning process.
  • Scheduling regular forecast review meetings with management

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
  • A solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Expertise in mathematical and statistical analysis.
  • Strong proficiency and skills using Power BI with experience in developing Demand Planning Models and Tools
  • Capability of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to prepare and present information and recommendations from documentation (spreadsheets, charts, graphs)
  • Capable of working remotely with minimal supervision as a self-starter.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional Computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI

Additional Notes:

  • Travel 10% to 15% Annually
