Summary
Responsible for assisting the President and Controller in performing general office duties, assisting in data entry, and providing executive and administrative support
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Answer telephones and greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Take inventory of supplies on a regular basis (no less than every two weeks). Re-order supplies so that proper levels are maintained, and supplies are always in stock
• Open, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail daily
• Create and maintain Company human resource files and assist with onboarding process and paperwork
• Set-up new vendors in Accounting System according to Artisan process and procedure
• Process Credit Applications or Credit Requests as needed
• Assisting Controller with other ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
• Assist President in staying on task and on point with completing high level deliverables relating to the execution of strategy, hiring, performance reviews, etc.
• Plan and prioritize weekly schedules ensuring time is protected and respected, streamlining access for President’s time and attention
• Attend weekly meetings between the President and Managers and create minutes, action items and follow ups
Skills and Qualifications;
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proficient in drafting general office correspondence

• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and perform work within required time constraints
• Superior time-management skills and be comfortable transitioning between
multiple tasks throughout the day
•Works well in a group environment and uphold company Mission and Values
• Trouble shoot, problem solve and overcome obstacles in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information, communicating with coworkers, vendors and clients as needed
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or equal is required, some college preferred
• Light Bookkeeping and/or prior accounting experience preferred, but not required
