About the Job:
We are an architectural office, located in Newark, NJ, currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team! Our diverse practice includes planning, design and development construction documents for commercial and residential projects, single family, two-three family dwelling, multifamily and mixed-use buildings.
We are looking for an Architect Designer that combines the required knowledge and experience to complete a wide variety of projects.
It is an opportunity to gain experience to work independently as well as in teams. This is a full-time position (in office, not remote). You’ll be involved in developing and supervising construction documents.
Responsibilities
- Participate in activities of the design process, assisting with the coordination of projects with Engineers, Planners and other consultants
- Review drawings from the drafting team to comply with code requirements.
- Deliver project tracking and communication with clients, project team and inspectors
- Provide directions to the drafting team on behalf of the head architect
- Track and follow the project schedule and timeline throughout all phases of the projects
- Provide bi-weekly reports
- Assure project profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Candidates must have an architectural design background, with experiences in all the design phases
- Must have at least 8 years of Construction Document experience
- Must have knowledge of New Jersey building and zoning codes
- Must possess at least 5 years of experience with projects in the mixed-use and multifamily residential markets
- Candidate must possess strong graphic skills and be proficient with AutoCAD
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $86,059.00 - $93,600.00 per year
