We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and dynamic professional for our Training and Development Coordinator. This position plays a crucial role in connecting our new team members to Arsenal’s company culture while providing the foundation training of our core systems. The Training and Development Coordinator will also work with various departments to provide organization-wide training for new product rollouts and GREAT member service enhancements. 

The Training and Development Coordinator will develop, enhance, and conduct new and existing credit union training programs for leaders, employees, and teams, ensuring that ongoing training reflects organizational needs, strategic goals/direction, and initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

• Research, select, and evaluate appropriate instructional methods (i.e., one-on-one training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercises, and computer-based/led training).
• Conduct all aspects of training specific to new hires, including the use of credit union computers, basics of core system applications, product and service knowledge, and administer PROMISE Mentor Training Program.
• Create, coordinate, and maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date training program for new and existing employees addressing policies, procedures, products, and services.
• Suggest training policies, programs, and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs, cost-effectiveness, department availability, and changes in procedures, products and/or services. 
• Organize, select, develop, and update training manuals and teaching aids.
• Assist management in preparing the annual training budget and justifies funds requested by compiling data and analyzing past and current training requirements.
• Serve as administrator for our Learning Management System, including employee list management and developing and assigning yearly learning plans per department/position. 
• Conduct an annual audit of staff training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in the area of Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or Education preferred.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Credit Union or Banking experience required.
• Displays creative ability with a professional, positive, and dynamic demeanor.
• Able to work independently with strong organization and verbal/written communication skills. 
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems preferred.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure, remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook, and cast a positive outlook that is aligned with Arsenal’s culture and core values.
