Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing oversight and direct day-to-day management for assigned projects, team, contractors, and consultants
  • Interface professionally with clients as a representative of the company
  • Ensure project completed in accordance with contract documents, within project durations, and within budget
  • Provide leadership to a team and ensure positive outcomes and results
  • Must be an effective written and verbal communicator
  • Proficient with relevant computer technology and software
  • Must be able to manage and supervise others
  • Create, review, and manage project budgets, cost projections, profit/loss
  • Multi-task numerous projects at a single time in varying stages of construction
  • Work with time constraints and complete deliverables on time
  • Prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Recognize and apply lessons learned as it relates to bidding, projects, and management
  • Comprehend solicitations and SOWs to organize/perform/assign work with minimum supervision
  • Learn and evolve new methods and systems
  • Reports to and receives instruction from the Director of Construction
  • Interfaces with all staff, project personnel, corporate administrative support staff, executive personnel, customers, vendors and regulatory agencies
  • Supervise project personnel, designers, andsubcontractors

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Microsoft Windows Office environment, Procore, RMS, and Primavera
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management and leadership (i.e., safety, schedule, budget,quality management, and relationship building)
  • Demonstrated experience with estimating and project strategy
  • Demonstrated experience with proposal development
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in project management and/or project controls
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) processes and procedures
  • General working knowledge of federal regulatory contracting processes, practices, requirements,guidelines, and laws regarding construction projects
  • Strong familiarity with USACE EM 385-1-1, 10 CFR 835, OSHA 1910.120 and other applicableregulatory and safety guidelines typically utilized within DOD, DOE, DOI, and NRC
  • Comprehension of potential interface/impact from Federal and state regulatory agenciesregarding taxes, TERO, environmental, and etc.
  • Experience interacting with federal agencies including DHS, DOD (USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, andUSCG), DOE, DOI (BIA, BFWS, USGS, and BLM)
  • Must possess valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens
  • Must be available for standby assignments/scheduled off-hours/emergency work as required
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
  • Must possess USACE QCM Certification and OSHA 30
  • Create, generate, and maintain required spreadsheet reports for projects required and provide to General Manager
  • Conduct project management progress/quality/safety meetings as required with adequate and accurate meeting agenda and minutes
  • Generate, review, and approve daily, weekly and monthly project status reports; submit to General Manager as required
  • Procurement of design professionals, subcontractors, equipment, parts, supplies as needed to complete solicitation responses and projects
  • Generate, monitor, and complete all project tasks and subcontractor compliance to contractual requirements to meet or exceed project schedule/milestones
  • Use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data to draw conclusions
  • Assist with proposal response efforts (pricing, technical writing, and schedule)
  • Mentor junior staff members and visit project sites on a regular basis
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret data; provide responses in a timely and professional manner; able to write routine SOWs; able to communicate clearly and succinctly on a basic and technical level
  • Must be able to document issues and resulting resolutions
  • Must be able to solve problems
  • Must possess basic computer skills, basic maintenance, and repair aptitude
  • Ability to solve practical problems; ability to interpret and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Ability to verbally communicate with, hear and understand others
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to list up to 30 lbs
