We are looking to fill one position at our Holbrook location & one position at our West Babylon location.
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00PM & Saturday 7AM – 12PM.
Training will be provided in all aspects of this position. This is a position that is exposed to the outdoor elements all year.
Job Duties:
- Weighing metals and electronics on our inside scales as well as our outside scale (on one system)
- Working with others to manage and assist customers in the parking lot
- Keeping accurate records of daily purchases using our computerized buying system.
- Picking up material and putting it in the appropriate areas. Pushing carts and helping customers.
- Customer Engagement & Promotion, providing a Quality Customer Experience, addressing customer questions and concerns effectively with management assistance.
- Communicating effectively with the operations/warehouse team on a daily basis.
- Turning in and reviewing paperwork and briefing management end-of day.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have transportation. Will also be working some days at our West Babylon yard once acclimated.
- Reliable with Steady Work History.
- Patience and care with customers and the general public
- Ability to enter data into a computer system and Multitask. Basic Computer and Math Skills required.
- English Required. Bi-Lingual is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment & tolerate standing, bending, walking, lifting, etc.
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00PM & Saturday 7AM – 12PM.
Hourly position, pay increases with time and experience.

Post-Training Pay - After 6 Months: $25 per hour / 37.5 per hour OT
