Role Purpose:

To support the healthcare client's mission and goals with specialized nursing/LPN support.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
• Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
• Preparing patients for exams and treatment
• Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
• Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
• Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
• Assisting in medical procedures as needed
• Operating and monitoring medical equipment
• Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
• Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
• Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students

Position Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (OR an accredited practical nursing certificate for LPN) is required

Experience:

• At least 2 years of Medical Surgical, Tele, and/or ICU experience as a Registered Nurse/LPN

Skills & Certifications:

• Vaccination Records and 2-step TB Clearance within the past 12 months
• Current BLS (must be from American Heart Association)
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Type: Full-time/Temporary; Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: Competitive Salary, based on experience and position (RN or LPN)
