We are seeking a Lead Operator.

Hours: Monday Night-Saturday Morning,10 PM - 6:30 AM. Warehouse is air conditioned.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED preferred

· Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

· Able to operate hand-held tools, including trimming knife, de-burring tool, jigs and fixtures

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

· Prefer prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience

Operator Responsibilities:

· Operate assigned plastic injection molding machines.

· Read, understand, and perform the processes stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Review press samples to understand and be able to identify conforming or non-conforming product.

· Complete the initial Quality inspection of the product being produced and determine if it is conforming or non-conforming product.

· Communicate immediately with supervisor and/or quality control when non-conforming product is identified.

· Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customers' specifications.

· Accurately record scrap and rejects on production data entry sheet.

· Prepare, tape, and tare weigh boxes.

· Ensure workstation is clean and orderly.

· Adhere to attendance policy and break schedule.

Lead Operator Responsibilities:

· Visually inspect parts for acceptability and immediately report any questionable product to production supervisor and/or quality control.

· Using scales, perform quantity weigh-counting on all product being produced on the shift.

· Tare weigh boxes for all products packed at lead operator station.

· Tare weigh pallets and slip sheets on any products that are bulk packaged.

· Accurately create all serial bar code labels for boxes being shipped and ensure weight labels match bar code labels for quantity.

· Confirm QC Inspection stamp is on box label before taping box for shipping; scan each label as “produced” and send box to final area.

· Calculate all production data sheets during shift, verify quantities produced, run times, and scrap codes used, and give completed sheets to production supervisor at end of shift.

· Accurately complete inventory counts for each shift and complete production data entry sheet form.

· Create boxes and labels for the start of the next shift and tare weigh boxes and pallets as needed.

· Assist production supervisor in training operators as needed on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Assist production supervisor in giving breaks to Operators as needed.

· Adhere to attendance policy and break schedule

· Any other duties as assigned
