Armanino LLP is Hiring a Tax Intern - 2024 (Texas) Near Dallas, TX

TEAM UP WITH US!

Our Texas offices are looking to hire Tax Interns for Winter and Summer 2024.

Winter start date: January 8, 2024

Summer start date: June 10, 2024

WHAT TO EXPECT:

You will gain hands-on experience working alongside professionals at all levels that will provide you with the knowledge to excel in the field of public accounting. 

Regardless of when you intern, our program includes interactive and engaging opportunities. While interning, you'll boost your skills through:

  • 10 hours initial training consisting of technical systems and soft skills
  • Continued learning through instructor-led classes and self-guided courses
  • 5 Industry Spotlights learning from experts across Armanino
  • Volunteer Opportunities supporting the Armanino Foundation
  • Social & Networking events hosted by our Culture Committee

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns on behalf of clients. Projects may include return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections
  • Research and stay up to date with changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state level
  • Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team to support varying client engagements, possibly across multiple industries which may include Technology, Real Estate, Education, Cannabis, Manufacturing, Education, Non-Profit and more
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with a team of professionals on client projects through multiple channels including meetings, chat, and email
  • Develop skills in accounting software through instructor-lead courses, self-guided learnings, workflow updates, and on the job training
  • Work toward the completion of CPA certification with the support of Armanino through prep materials and classes
  • Create an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion where all perspectives are valued and all people are welcomed

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting
  • Final graduation date/CPA eligibility date (whichever comes later) between December 2024 and August 2025 strongly preferred
