ARMADA is Hiring a Supply Chain Orchestration Analyst (Flexible/Hybrid) Near Pittsburgh, PA

SUMMARY

The Client's managed freight movement and promotions are monitored by a Profitable Response Orchestration Analyst, whose responsibility is proactive responses resulting in system-wide collaboration, communications, and execution. The Orchestration Analyst ensures all category stakeholders are participating in collaborative response management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • TECHNOLOGY
    • Super user of the PRO platform
    • Support internal and external users as a SME of the tool, including training as needed
    • Remain current with the Orchestration platform updates and features
    • Proficiency and execution in existing Armada tools such as the TMS
    • PERFORMANCE

    PRO TRACKING

      • Proactively monitor shipment status via the platform and TMS
      • Identify and act on potential problem areas via alerts and dashboards
      • Collaboration using the virtual situation room
      • Coordinate first response activity to proactively manage assured supply
      • Coordinate resolution of carrier, supplier and DC issues regarding:
        • Loading/Unloading
        • Appointments
        • Assessorial issues
        • OS & D
        • Any other lane management issues
      • Train and mentor Orchestrators within region

      Maintain Established Performance Levels for:

        • On-time pickup
        • On-time delivery
        • Tendered lead time less than 48hrs
        • Closed loads
        • Accessorial resolution
        • Response time, virtual situation room (need to establish measures)
        • DC’s Satisfaction - (need to establish measures)
        • Proper Flagging - (need to establish measures)

      PRO ORCHESTRATION

      • Operate with a system wide perspective
      • Make business decisions on movement of inventory and “what-if” scenarios
      • Ensure that optimal promotion plans and contingency plans are executed in relevant nodes of the supply chain
      • Ensure all stakeholders are participating in collaborative response management via the situation room
      • In support of the supply plans, deploy cost effective solutions
      • RELATIONSHIP AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT
        • Support change management activity internal and external to Armada
        • Participate and lead digital collaboration, including but not limited to virtual situations room processes
        • Consistently enforce process change regarding digital collaboration and use of the platform within the network
          • Coach stakeholders with changes to roles and responsibilities
          • Support over all digital transformations, support a new way of managing supply chains
        • Support internal and external operational relationships with the following:
          • Suppliers
          • Carriers
          • DCs
          • All other customer network stakeholders as required
        • Escalate operational and performance issues as required to ensure desired service results are achieved
        • Assist and support the development and implementation of digital playbooks
        • Assist and support platform enhancements based on day-to-day learnings
        • Participate in stakeholder meetings, act as an SME for Armada
      • Other related duties as assigned.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • At the time of this posting, this position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may be asked to provide support to Managers as necessary

      QUALIFICATIONS

      Education and Experience Requirement

      Minimum:

        • 2-5 years’ experience in transportation – operations and inventory experience preferred
        • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, Communications, or Logistics preferred

      Preferred:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management

      Experience:

      • Experience with network stakeholder facing roles to facilitate end-to-end problem solving
      • High visibility issue resolution

      Language and Technical Skills Requirement

        • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook & Access, TMS applications
        • Ability to interface with other functional areas including carrier management and external stakeholders
        • Thorough understanding of surface transportation management and inventory terms and concepts
        • Proven analytical, end-to-end problem solving, decision making skills and solution execution and facilitation
