About the Role

The tech lead will be a foundational member of our software engineering team and will have ownership in developing the web applications that support our customer facing web platform. As a part of our web platform team you will design, architect, and deliver functional applications that drive our customer facing needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Development in react.js, jode.js or similar front end technology, microservices, API while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
• Write and ensure well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Work in a team environment and mentor the junior team members
• Perform code reviews and write skeleton code for web development and mid-tier applications.
• Participate in talent acquisition
• Coordinate with product managers and offshore technical teams including PST & IST TimeZone for development.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands on experience on Web Development technology on Python, Javascript , microservice, Node.js, and Web development
• Good communication skills.
• Understand the existing Python, Javascript, Web codebase and enhance the application based on requirements.
• Attend the daily/weekly scrum calls to provide status updates.
• Knowledge and hands on experience in the following or similar tech stack
• JavaScript
• SQL
• Node.js
• React.js
• Python
• Bash
• AWS
