Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Under the supervision and direction of the Applied Behavior Analysis Co-Director; Behavior Specialists will work inside the classroom to utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies with students to access the adopted curriculum and work towards IEP goals. This position is a school-year position with opportunities to work during summer break.
Candidates must be experienced with the classroom environment and with ABA, including the ability to work with the Lead Behavior Specialist and the ABA Manager to improve practices and approach. Behavior Paraprofessional positions available for those with less experience.

Positions in this class require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Light Work:
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Work is routinely performed in an indoor and outdoor classroom setting.
