General Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Agent primary duty is the performance of office non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations. The employee's primary duty must include the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.

Specific Job Duties:

• Daily Processing of invoices – IAH
  • Reviewing file for appropriate information (such as PO/Job numbers)
  • Posting and printing invoices
  • Matching appropriate documentation to invoices (such as POD/bill of lading)
  • Scanning/Emailing of invoices to clients that require it
  • Special Accounts – Periodic billing
• Daily Processing of Approved Credits and re-bills
• Keeping track of client billing requirements
  • Updating spreadsheet/Cargowise as necessary
• Assist department with:
  • Customer Service
    • Providing invoice copies/backup requested
    • Answering client questions
    • Researching discrepancies
  • Reviewing/mailing of monthly statements
  • Special assignments upon request
  • Assisting with collections

Requirements:

• Three to five years’ experience
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills
• Balance individual responsibilities
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED
