  • Strong SQL skills and ability to implement general best practices; familiarity with MLOps a strong plus

  • Superior communication and data visualization skills with demonstrated ability to complete data science roadmap projects

  • Track record of developing and deploying machine learning models with diversity of model types

  • Familiarity with agile development and comfortable implementing agile methodologies in partnership with cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable writing reproducible, well-commented code and participating in code reviews

  • Experience with a few of the following: classification models, forecasting, neural networks (GANs especially), experimental design and A/B testing, or recommender systems

  • Experience with sophisticated statistical or econometric models

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Extensive experience with machine learning and practical experience in a ‘data as a product’ organization implementing predictive modeling

  • 5 years of practical experience as a data scientist in a product-driven organization working with data and predictive modeling OR an advanced degree in a quantitative field (such as computer science, statistics, a quantitative social, biological, or physical science) with 2 years of work experience that involved significant project management and predictive modeling

  • 4 years of experience working in a position that requires critical thinking, writing for internal and external communications, and familiarity with common tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)/Microsoft Office/etc. or a Bachelor’s degree
