**Description**

POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily training and quality of the production processes and the production team and for assembling and wiring industrial electrical control panels. As the Production Team Leader, you are responsible for a variety of tasks including planning, scheduling, and helping resolve production issues and overseeing floor operations. Your main objective is to ensure that all production projects are completed in a timely manner and stay within budget while monitoring the performance of the production employees and verifying product quality. You are responsible for training and overseeing the production team to ensure consistent product quality and that delivery schedules are met. You will monitor individual team members to see if there is a need for additional training or instruction, and you will work with production employees, managers, vendors, engineers, and estimators.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that the production team members are properly trained and able to perform their assigned duties.

Provide a positive work environment; motivate and coach the team to operational success.

Assist the Production Supervisors with evaluation of employees with job performance reviews.

Assist the Production Supervisors in ensuring that the production team members have the needed equipment and parts to complete their assigned duties.

Monitor employees to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.

Ensure that work areas, machines, and equipment are kept clean.

Assist the team members with meeting the shop complete date on each job, or if the date cannot be met, to notify management.

Assign/arrange/or complete point-to-point through the completion of panels before sending to testing.

Constantly improve the production process to make it more efficient; create a culture of improvement.

Resolve any productions issues that may arise.

Collaborate and coordinate with engineering to ensure product quality standards and resolve technical issues.

Serve as a member of various employee committees.

Represent the Revere solutions/culture/work ethic in all interactions with vendors, customers, potential customers, employees, and potential employees..

Perform related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of two (2) years of production experience with Revere Control Systems.

Previous experience building electrical control panels required.

High school or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Previous electrical background preferred.

Extensive knowledge of Revere production operations in a shop environment.

Knowledge of current policies and practices of leadership.

Knowledge of quality systems and standards.

Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Knowledge of electrical theory as applied to work situations.

Ability to operate the tools and equipment in the production areas.

Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Ability to understand and provide verbal and written instructions.

Understand skilled electrical work in the design, layout, assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels.

Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

The noise level in the work (office) environment is generally quiet to moderate. The noise level in the production area is generally noisy.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.

The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.

Field trips with service/sales/engineering personnel may include work environments that vary in different industrial situations.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will frequently be necessary.
