Advanced Architectural Stone is a masonry/cement based product used on commercial and residential structures to provide ornamentation and uniqueness at entryways and other focal points of a building. The product is produced in molds. Our product is sold throughout the United States.
Position: Immediate openings for experienced carpentry workers to produce molds and finish out of wood molds for architectural molding type products. Product is interesting and varied. Many levels of mold makers from simple shapes to ornate columns. As long as candidates have some carpentry experience, AAS will provide on the training.
Molds are made from wood and parts are developed with the aide of CNC machines or table saws. Mold maker opportunities vary from apprentice to artisan level.
Requirements/Qualifications: Use of tools to include table saws, band saws, nail and screw guns, reading architectural drawings and production tickets. Cabinetry and finish interior carpentry qualifies as experience. Painting and mold finish out experience a plus.
