Material Handler – Erlanger, KY
ADM Nutrition
This is a full time, hourly position.Text ADMErlanger to 53827 to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read, understand and follow instructions listed on reports/pick sheets
- Check and add all materials listed on pick sheets
- Accurately weigh materials for production areas
- Follow QC sampling procedures and report QC deviations
- Execute all required transactions on terminal software and handheld scanners
- Pull & return material in approved locations in warehouses
- Responsible for cycle counting locations
- Follow ISO9001, GMP and HACCP procedures
- Responsible for shipping functions, labeling product and checking customer orders prior to shipping to customer
- Responsible for inventory record accuracy of 96% or greater
Required Skills:
- Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
- Exhibit regular and timely attendance
- Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
- Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
- Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement
- High School, equivalent or degree in related field preferred
- 3 years’ experience in Shipping, Receiving and Logistics & Transportation preferred
- Bar-code experience
- Forklift (standup) experience
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills, (Word and Excel)
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis throughout 8 hour shift
- Wear a respirator
- Able to stand, walk, lift, reach and bend throughout 8 hour shift
