Position Summary:
Pay begins at the training grade of $18.50/hr., with future pay being based on skill level. An employee with obvious maintenance skills may be advanced at a faster rate.
The plant processes cotton linters and produces cotton pulp. The ability to work safely in all situations of the plant environment is the paramount requirement. The ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and able to work well in a diverse team environment as well as an aptitude to learn. Strong language skills will be necessary to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation documents, and procedures manuals. The candidates must have an excellent work history including safety and attendance. The position will involve some shift rotation including weekends and holidays.
