FUNCTIONAL ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Accountant / Business Operations Coordinator is to work in tandem with the Director of Business Operations to provide consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely analysis of day-to-day Business Operations. This role requires excellent attendance, the ability to work within budgets, and experience operating within an ERP system. This role will work in conjunction with the Directors of Business and Technical Operations, the HR Coordinator, and Project Managers. SPECIFIC TASKS INCLUDE:
Bank Reconciliations - Checking and Saving Accounts
Credit Card Reconciliation & Analysis
Accounts Payable Support
Assist in the creation and implementation of Budgets
DOT & Vehicle Fleet Support
General Data Entry
Contribute to environmental stewardship and a work culture focused on health and safety
Identify process improvement strategies to support business growth
Strong customer service, Positive attitude, Highly motivated, Superior problem-solving skills.
Proficient in navigating an ERP system.
Proficient / Advanced with Microsoft Excel and Data manipulation
Strong understanding of GAAP
Ability to analyze short-term v.s. long-term cashflow impacts.
Proven ability to work in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform tasks with minimal amount of supervision.
General understanding of DOT/FMCSA/CDL requirements for Vehicle Fleets.
Ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with co-workers, county officials, the general public, etc.
Valid Drivers’ License, with a good driving record.
The Accountant / Business Operations Coordinator will take direction from the Director of Business Operations.
Authority will be determined as job skills and requirements are assessed.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
The job performance of the Accountant / Business Operations Coordinator will be determined by a company-wide peer review, administered by the Director of Business Operations or HR Coordinator.
