Responsibilities

Seeking someone who is a practitioner in the field of Quality Assurance. Primary responsibility will be to perform quality assurance on our software products including:

• Provides quality assurance testing for all PuriFile components to ensure the development and distribution of quality products. Independently implements, develops and executes test functions to ensure that quality software is provided for release to production and to certify system changes.
• Develops, compiles, documents, and runs automated test scripts and test procedures.
• Leverages tools and technologies to produce test plan documents and requirements.
• Maintains test records and ensures their integrity and currency.
• Coordinates test data with development staff to ensure optimized unit testing.
• Produces lists of defects that are to be resolved and incorporated into future releases of the application as required.
• Communicates with analysts and programmers about formal testing problems, and results.
• Applies all existing processes assuring they are fully documented, driving improvements, updating documentation, and communicating all process changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Assists with roll-out of systems documentation.

Qualifications

Requires:

• Experience with static and/or dynamic testing tools

• Should have a BS with 0-2 years experience or HS and 6-8 years of experience.

Preferred:

• Experience with Atlassian Suite
• Experience with QA related to Java applications
