POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for receiving, enumerating, cataloging, storing, maintaining, and expediting production equipment, parts, materials, and supplies, essential for production lines. Additional duties include scheduling production jobs in Ross ERP System and preparing shipping documents.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or *equivalent, with one (1) year of related experience. Data entry experience required. By Federal law must be twenty-one (21) years of age. May be required to pass DOT physical exam and test for commercial driver’s license. *Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receives requisition for material, parts, and supplies for production operation; initiates expedited delivery to maintain production schedule.
1. Properly stores items, enters inventory into data system, performs cycle counts, and maintains inventory documentation.
2. Prepares BOL and Packing Lists for energetic shipments to customers.
3. Assures prompt access to and delivery of replacement and repaired parts to plant maintenance employees.
4. Creates and enter Production Jobs through ROSS.
5. Performs related duties as needed to facilitate prompt and expedited support to maintenance and production groups.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work will take place in a combination office/shop environment. Employee may be required to work weekends, holidays and be on-call on occasion. While performing the duties of this job, employees may be exposed to mechanical or chemical processes requiring the use of personnel protective equipment. The employee may encounter controlled air conditions with frequent air changes, environmental exposure, lift up to 60 pounds, and will be in close contact with energetic “live” inflator systems during normal work activities. These are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental. Employees may be required to perform additional related duties as may be assigned by management.
