Job Overview: ARRC is looking for a full-time, experienced, and responsible Site Foreman join our growing company. The Site Foreman will lead & assist the operating crew in building and restoring streams and wetlands using such methods as stream bank stabilization, floodplain restoration, regenerative storm water conveyance, and wetland mitigation BMPs. The Site Foreman will report to Project Manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 3-6 individuals
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Responsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logs
• Performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to Equipment Department
• Operate heavy construction equipment & trucks such as excavators, track trucks, bulldozers, rubber tire loaders, compact track loaders, tractors, and attachments for equipment.
• Install stream & wetland stabilization structures such as boulder & log installation, rock cross vanes, boulder crops & outcrops toe, boulder clusters, rock & log J hooks, step pools, toe wood, etc.
• Safely operate a variety of tools including hand tools, chainsaws, and miscellaneous power tools when needed.
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience
• Knowledge of GPS equipment preferred but not required
• Experience and knowledge of stream, wetland & floodplain restoration work preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to travel out of town when needed. Room, food, lodging, & transportation are all provided
• Pre-Employment Drug Screening, Physical & Background Check
• DOT Physical completed by 90 days
• Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks independently
