AQREVA Medical Billing & Consulting is looking for an experienced Coding Specialist. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of Health Care Coding Systems, CMS guidelines of LCDs/NCDs, and considerable knowledge of medical and health care terminology and anatomy.
The candidate must have an associate degree or a minimum of two years’ work experience in a related field of study, two years’ experience in a coding position with preferred designations of CCS, CPC. Desired experience in surgery or anesthesia coding,or Evaluation and Management auditing. Candidate must also be an active member of AHIMA or AAPC.
The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced work environment, and have strong technical problem solving and work management skills.
