A quick snapshot… The Software Engineer in our Technical Support team is critical to the overall success of Conga, it’s customers and business partners. As a part of the Technical Support Tier 3 team, you will have an opportunity to work on niche products, work on solving complex business problems, collaborate with and learn from a group of talented engineers as you develop your product knowledge and expertise within the organization. In this role, you will serve as an escalation point of contact for product and service issues. This role collaborates with other Tech Support team members, and it operates on a hybrid schedule in our Broomfield Office. Why it’s a big deal… The Software Engineer works diligently on resolving complex issues quickly and efficiently, helping our customers to get back to fully utilizing their Conga products successfully. You will be directly involved in solving higher level product issues by providing guidance and direction to assist our customers with any query regarding specific solutions, related customizations options and provide world-class technical support resolutions to their cases. Are you the person we’re looking for? Technical experience and expertise. Minimum two years of any programming language experience with building product or implementing solutions (Java or .NET preferred). Prior hands-on skills evaluating, troubleshooting, duplicating, documenting, testing and debugging software is a must. Related experience in providing support post-go-live would be an added advantage. Strong troubleshooting skills and logic-based thinking is your forte. This is an absolute must. Your proven ability to analyze and apply logical thinking to determine the root cause of an issue is fundamental to success in this role. Experience in a client support has prepared you to effectively investigate technical issues, prioritize, and escalate as needed, to ensure timely resolutions in line with client SLAs. You can easily understand how systems interact/integrate with each other, as well as how changes in one application will affect others. Analytical thinker and creative problem solver. You see issues holistically. You follow the flow of the stack to get to the root of the matter -- a key skill in this role. But where you really shine is with your ability to understand the problems quickly and identify creative solutions to unique customer requirements. This is critical for ensuring our customer issues are resolved in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations. Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator. Before we can provide the right solution to our customers, we must first clearly understand the problem. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent listening skills to fully understand the customers needs and frustrations. You can clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences, can visualize the “big picture” and explain it to others via phone or email. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to best address customer pain-points and close cases in a timely manner. Education and Certifications. Completion of a Bachelor of Computer Science, or an Engineering related degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Here’s what will give you an edge… Industry expertise. Salesforce Development experience OR worked in the similar role in the past would be beneficial. Target compensation is determined by market location for each role. The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general base salary target for this position in Colorado is $118,000 per year; however, the actual base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
