Aptive is seeking a Financial Analyst to support digital transformation within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The selected candidate will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Management (OM) through Congress established the Financial Services Center (FSC) as a Franchise Fund Enterprise Center. FSC services both customers internally at VA and to Other Government Agencies (OGA).
FSC Financial Technology Service (FSC) is a dedicated IT organization, which is aligned to oversee and support all IT work within the FSC as well as IT related decisions that impact future business. FSC is dependent on information technology (IT) to deliver services effectively and efficiently. FSC partnered with the VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) to merge technology and business to jointly develop and implement products and services for VA customers and stakeholders. In this role, you will you support operations through the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets for FSC, as well as through analysis of key business information and drivers. Your analysis and recommendations direct and drive operational decisions.
The Financial Analyst must have experience in creating strategically tailored financial plans. Must have experience in conducting targeted review of status and identify points of risk, what-if analysis. Must have experience in identifying alternative strategies for addressing risk. Hard core analysis, fact verification, study and research are all a part of the financial analyst job, as well as planning and decision making on financial analysis.
This Associate level, full-time position is a remote opportunity; occasional travel will be required.
