As an EngineeringLab Manager on our team, you’ll build, manage, and improve the networks that support data-driven analytics and operations research (ORSA): 

Manage different testing efforts at the lab that are related to all program services. Perform actual configuration, evaluation, integration with other entities, and certification. Work closely with engineering staff within the program as well as external program. Perform Configuration Management (CM) for all lab equipment. Work on lab equipment logistic aspect. Work on production tasks as needed. Perform Tier-4 ticket escalation as needed. Be familiar with different technologies and equipment, new or old, at the lab.

What You Have Accomplished

· 16 years of experience professional network engineering experience

· Experience working in or managing a Lab environment

· Experience with routine network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.

· Experience with configuring and testing hardware, networking software and operating system software.

· Ability to prepare technical proposals for presentation to the engineering review boards for adding new technologies to the network.

· Ability to perform a full range of upgrades in accordance with existing network architecture.

· Experience with reviewing user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting user requirements.

· Ability to perform long term O&M activities to include tier 4 troubleshooting and problem resolution.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
