Job Title: HR Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Position Summary:

This role performs various HR-related tasks and provides administrative support for the HR team including, but not limited to recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding, training, communicating process changes, answering HR and pay related employee questions as well as compiling and reporting employee data. This role will also provide office administration support to our Glen Rock, NJ office.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or 1 years of related experience
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work with confidential information pertaining to company, its entities, and employees
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail-oriented

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Perform entry of employee information such as new hires, terminations, and pay changes into HRIS
  • On-boarding new employees
  • Process corporate and divisional new hires, rehires and terminations using ADP Workforce Now for multi-unit/multi-state locations including initiating background checks and communicating applicant status with hiring managers.
  • Track / organize the onboarding process for new hires in various stages
  • Resolving system issues related to the hiring process/ employee profiles
  • Ensuring completion and proper filing of all new hire documents, including I-9s
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions
  • Assist with planning and executing special events such as benefits enrollment, employee activities, gatherings, and recognition events
  • Maintain and update corporate organization charts
  • Assist with HR/employee data audits, updates, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws; identify and escalate risks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices in the region and the company
  • Support associates and managers with routine, day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, ensuring you guide our teams to the right resources to ensure a quality and timely solution
  • Assist with projects, programs, or services to execute department objectives
  • Office Administration:

o Maintain office seating chart, assign workspace for new employees

o Request and distribute office building access cards

o Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries, assist in ordering and maintaining office supplies
