The Global Real Estate Lease Management team is responsible for managing and administering Apple’s Corporate and Retail real estate leases and owned properties, reporting of portfolio key data and critical dates, maintaining the system of record, and developing and maintaining relationships with local property managers and landlords. The team works with many internal cross-functional business partners including Facilities, Project Management, Legal, Tax, Risk Management, Accounting and Finance. In addition, the team works with many external business partners such as outside legal counsel, third-party consultants and landlords.
Key Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Lease Management; with database/records management;
- Willingness to work as part of a team;
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data;
- Consistent track record of successfully completing challenging projects and managing priorities;
- Demonstrated ability to understand/influence the business and build effective partnerships;
- Consistent track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment.
- California Notary a plus
Description
The Global Lease Specialist will be integral to the day-to-day operation of the Global Lease Management Department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Abstract lease records – both new leases, renewals and other amendments
- Correspond with landlords regarding ongoing property management issues
- Manage the collection of tenant allowances and security deposits due from landlords;
- Ensure lease compliance with sub-tenants, including maintaining system updates and billing of year-end adjustments and the reporting of such
- Manage the system of record and work with third-party system provider as required;
- Responsible for the organization and maintenance of physical documents for all owned, leased and prospective properties
- Provide support for lease tracking and execution, mail distribution and uploading of electronic lease files
- Support COI requests from landlords as needed
- Monitor, prepare and distribute reports as needed; strong proficiency in Excel and pivot tables desired
Education & Experience
BA or BS or equivalent required / Paralegal Certificate a plus

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $105,200 and $197,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
