Power and Performance team is looking for a software engineering manager to lead its telemetry team. This team is responsible for building systems to collect telemetry across all Apple products to drive power/performance triage and analytics. You would work with various teams across Apple to develop an understanding of new hardware and software features, and be responsible for the telemetry collection system spanning multiple layers of software stack. You will have the opportunity to work on the latest Apple products and drive the team to build efficient software that would ship to billions of Apple customers. We're looking for a strong leader to join and lead this amazing team.
Key Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in developing production software (C, C or Obj C)
- Proactive and self motivated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Strong technical leadership and ability to inspire team members
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and managers across technical domains
- Strong system level understanding
- Strong foundation in software design and architecture
Description

Education & Experience
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000 and $301,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
