Job Description

Apple Rehab, a family owned and operated skilled nursing company in business for over 50 years, has an opportunity available for a traveling construction helper. This employee will be part of an internal construction team to assist with projects throughout our 22 nursing communities in CT and RI. This position is full-time and benefit eligible.

• Construction helper with 3-5 years experience
• Works in a variety of weather conditions (entails both inside and outside work), with varied tasks at varying locations daily / weekly.
• Performs and or assists lead foreman in various construction / carpentry tasks such as, but not limited to, light framing, dry walling, painting, fire door installations, flooring installations, cabinet, countertop and trim installations. Concrete repair, ability to climb ladders (under 2 stories).
• Ability to lift 80 lbs, must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Must have basic hand tools
• Must be a team player
