Director of IT

Reporting to the CFO, responsibilities include:

• Oversee helpdesk function; manage & mentor help desk manager and support engineers
• Support company’s Identity management infrastructure
• Manage IT system infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers
• Maintain IT systems documentation
• Partner with Sr Director of IT with:
• Developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and smooth operation of IT systems
• Research, test, and develop new solutions for corporate IT
• Assist with auditing and maintenance of systems and software
• Serve as escalation point for members of IT team
• Share on-call rotation
• Work closely with other IT staff to effectively communicate issues, project milestones, and recommendations

Qualifications:

• 4 year degree in MIS, computer science, or equivalent work experience
• 8 years experience in a systems/network administrator or similar role
• Experience with managing a corporate help desk
• Familiarity with selecting and deploying IDPs
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment with Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Experience with administration in an Active Directory environment
• Experience with software and script development (i.e. Java, Bash, Python)
• Working understanding of TCP/IP networking and related services
• Ability to occasionally travel to remote corporate offices

Knowledge of the following is a plus:

AWS, VMWare ESXi, MySQL / MariaDB, IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, IDS, IPS, RADIUS, 802.1x, Cisco IOS, Cisco ASA, G Suite, Asterisk, SIP / RTP, BIND, ISC-DHCPd, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Shibboleth IdP, Ansible
