ApotheCom is a world-leading medical strategy agency with an extensive track record of success. We are now recruiting for a talented and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our operations team. In this role you will serve as the day-to-day lead for project revenue and cost management on assigned accounts. This includes managing financial data in Maconomy (financial management system) and interacting proactively with account teams. You will also make positive contributions to the wider finance team, helping to refine our processes, training and more. This role will give you the opportunity to develop new skills within a fast-paced yet high-rewarding environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work closely with Client teams by being their strategic financial business partner in properly developing, reviewing, and approving scopes of work, and pricing staff plans for Client engagements
• Conduct monthly reviews with Client team to assess forecast, monitor project spend, hours and cost against budget, R&Os, recoverability and team performance resulting in tangible actions. Advise on Risk & Opportunity reporting. Track revenues vs. budget and research variance drivers 
• Safeguard revenue recognition compliance. Prepare month account and squad level reporting with actionable commentary. Track, monitor, and process forecast updates
• Analytical review of staff utilization and capacity and read out to managing directors. Tailor reporting as required by individual client team needs.
• Perform WIP analysis; facilitate the billing process by working with the billing department and the account team to ensure WIP is cleared and converted to accounts receivable
• Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with agency personnel related to financial processes and deliverables. Work with team to plan to improve budgeting, resourcing and operational efficiencies, flag internal issues, resource needs, training.
• Seek and implement ways to improve, streamline, and automate processes

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree is required; specialization in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of Client Finance Analysis experience in an Medical Communications, Advertising and PR Agency, Marketing Agency or Media Company is required
• Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and be service oriented in working with the agencies and other finance teams
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and the appropriate level of detailed thought
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills 
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team-player
• Must have intermediate or advanced skills in Excel
