Job Responsibilities:

• This Online banking BA release management position is responsible for assisting IT community banking team to:
  • manage test and production validation planning
  • communicate release changes
  • maintain product documentation
  • schedule change controls
  • manage Jira board review sessions of production issues and projects
  • prepare comprehensive status reporting
  • document production issue impacts
  • assist in tracking technical issues and status for system conversion projects.
• The business analyst will interface with team members and stakeholders to review test results, document production issue impact and communicate with our digital business partners.
• Responsibilities include communicating and summarizing key points and all technical changes and status clearly to all stakeholders and internal and external system partners.
• Business analysts work closely with QA resources, various customers including their immediate project teams, business unit representatives and other technical staff members, often facilitating and coordinating the communication among all parties.
• Solutions need recorded based on regulatory and compliance policies and standards for banking institutions and human resource policies of the bank to a level that can be understood by stakeholders.
• Business Analysts are expected to participate in every stage of the development lifecycle, from analysis and design through testing, release and maintenance while adhering to current System Development Methodology (SDM) processes.
• 40% of time documenting release testing plans, creating change requests, and communicating changes to stakeholders
• 30% of time creating detailed status reporting
• 20% of time documenting impact of production issues
• 10% of time communicating and addressing project challenges and team communication.

 Required skills and Experience:

• Experience Level: 5-10 years
• Good communicator - Ability to communicate verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner.
• Proven ability in interpreting release notes and translating them into product impacts
• Able to easily adapt to changes in direction, processes, procedures and priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to think through workflows, create workflows based on discussion and identify characteristics that make each workflow different
• Some experience building, using technologies such as JIRA / Confluence.
• Prefer understanding of retail banking business and online banking experience
