Outcomes and Activities:

• Gather requirements from business users and record them clearly in a format useful to developers and test analyst.

• Elicitation Techniques: Engage PMO, Product and stakeholders from multiple departments to build a shared understanding of the opportunity.

• Impact Analysis: Understand the rationale behind and how changes impact the enterprise and/or applications and across the technical ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Mid Level)
• Bachelor’s Degree (Senior) • Minimum of 2-year experience in Business Analyst or related role (Mid Level)
• Minimum of 5 years; experience in Business Analyst or related role (Senior)
• Experience supporting Workday in an Administrator and/or Business Analyst capacity
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience documenting user requirements (e.g., maintenance request or SOW)
• QA Testing experience
• Business Process Reengineering experience in Finance Industry (Senior)
• Experience leading 2 end-to-end project implementations as a BA (Senior)
• Basic knowledge of web technology (Senior)
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Project management experience, PMP Certification
• Minimum of 1-year experience supporting a web application as a business/quality/functional analyst (Mid Level)
• Minimum of 3-year experience supporting a web application as a business/quality/functional analyst (Senior)
• Basic knowledge of web technology (Mid Level)
• Ability to query a database using SQL / PLSQL (Mid Level)
• Ability to write complex database queries (SQL / PLSQL) and study data patterns (Senior)
• Basic understanding of Java technologies
• Testing certifications
• Knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA / Service Now
• Respond promptly and effectively to problems, projects, and tasks
• Be organized, with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
• Convey complex information in a timely and easily understood way to all levels of the organization
• Demonstrate insight; make recommendations as opportunities arise

Additional Position details:

• Role is remote but candidates must live in the US. Candidates must also be willing to work core business hours of 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM eastern time as part of their 8 hour work day.
• Candidates must have experience with the Workday tool as either an Administrator or Business Analyst. This role requires someone with experience configuring enhancements in Workday. We are using Workday for our HRIS, Applicant Tracking, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Benefits and salaried absence. We are looking for candidates who has experience working with all or most of these modules.
• Communication skills, both written and verbal, are extremely important. The candidate must also have proven experience presenting to groups of users.
• For a senior level candidate, a Bachelor’s degree is required. We are open to discipline.
