What We’re Looking For We have an opportunity for an office clerk to join our team. This is an administrative role that applies various clerical duties to validate the freight bills our clients send in. Apex is dedicated to continually working to streamline processes and remove obstacles so that our auditors are able to be successful in doing their job quickly and accurately. This position starts at $15.30/hour. Initial training will be conducted onsite for the first 30 days. After you have completed 30 days onsite and you are meeting performance expectations, you will have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work from home environment. For this reason candidates should be local to the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Opportunity Our auditing specialists are the first line of defense against paperwork errors that could potentially put our clients at risk. As invoices are logged electronically into our queue and dispersed out to each audit team, they are then cleared through the process (no errors) or flagged for specific issues and routed to one of the other departments for resolution. As you progress through and understand our audit process, some time is also spent answering questions and resolving issues for clients or other departments. Some of our most successful auditors have the ability to sort through a high-volume number of invoices and use their high attention to detail to spot discrepancies that could prevent a delay in payment. In this role, the ability to perform 10-key and alphanumeric data entry quickly and accurately helps aid in the success of each day. They regularly use the skills-based training and cross-training that Apex provides to ensure that our clients are getting the top-notch service they expect when they do business with us. Desired Qualifications We are looking for candidates that have worked in a professional setting and have a high school diploma. Applicants need to be able to use a computer and have a high level of initiative, problem solving skills, and personal accountability. Our auditors have to stay on task for long periods of time, so we need people who are good at prioritizing their work and multitasking in order to meet deadlines. Primary Location: US TX Fort Worth
