Job Description:
Looking for individuals with technician experience has produced individuals with printed circuit board and electronic experience, not power carrying components like circuit breakers, disconnect switches, relays, pilot lights, and motor starters. Interviewees to date have not have experience that would lead them to understand the difference between #4 and #14 gauge wire.
Here are details of the job:
• Assemble low voltage motor control centers per engineer specification and technical documents for short circuit, arc fault and thermal testing.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare formal and informal test reports.
• Communicate effectively with engineering teams, some overseas, and other team personnel to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Initiate and manage work orders , aid in tracking and close-out of work orders.
• Ensure a safe lab working environment by enforcing safe lab practices by all who enter the labs.
• Be able to operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, hoists, hand trucks and other material handling equipment as required.
• Ability to write reports, manipulate data, and effectively communicate with MS Office Tools.
• With minimal supervision, drive activities toward completion with the ability to communicate functionally within the organization.
• Requires the ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds.
