Associate Marketing Systems Product Manager Contract-to-Hire Hybrid - Onsite/Remote in San Diego, CA (no flexibility for non-local candidates) Conversion Salary Range: $77,037.4440 - $96,296.8050 The Associate Marketing Systems Product Manager, serves as the voice of the member, representing and reinforcing the member technology. The Associate Marketing Systems Product Manager, is a key contributor to maximizing the value of member facing technology (e.g. AI, CMS, CRM), across several lines of business though gathering, analyzing, and translating data into insights that support the strategic vision of the organization. DIMENSIONS
Support building technical and operational capabilities to optimize membership growth, sales leads, and member servicing for:
26 branches and a 45-person call center.
Website visitors
Online and mobile banking users
Other delivery channels
Assists with the optimization and product life cycle of the member-facing technology portfolio.
Supports product development among 1-2 Agile scrum teams consisting of 3-5 resources.
Staff/Departments supported: Marketing, Digital Team, Compliance, Member Service Center, Support Services, and Branch Support.
Position type: Hybrid. Subject to change at management's discretion based on business need or modifications to position structure. Supervisory responsibilities This role reports to the EVP, Member Experience and directly supports the Marketing Systems Product Manager. There are no direct reports to this position. NATURE & SCOPE The Associate Marketing Systems Product Manager is responsible for maximizing the value of member facing technology products (e.g. CMS, CRM, AI, Marketing Automation) across lines of business. Working cross-functionally among internal stakeholders and delivery teams, this role validates product requirements, drives product enhancements, supports product roadmapping, and contributes to product strategy though gathering and analyzing insights from an array of sources which include user product feedback, member experience feedback, quantitative product analytics, membership and account data, and market research. The Associate Marketing Systems Product Manager works closely with stakeholders, project management, development teams, design, and quality assurance to prioritize and communicate product launch or enhancement work. This role supports day to day elements of identifying, implementing, and managing the product lifecycle of the marketing technology stack. This role will also lead day to day management of marketing systems post go-live and initiate/prioritize projects and create the go-to-market plans This role may also directly contribute to enhancements through training staff in the configuration of products. Other Education, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar/adjacent role.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business management, Engineering, human-centered design or equivalent field preferred.
Strong sense of curiosity and analytical skills.
A working knowledge of or hands-on experience with web technologies; Saas products, hosted websites.
An understanding of design processes and UI/UX, development and technology architecture.
Familiarity with consumer-facing applications
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Knowledge of contemporary product management best practices and frameworks.
Working experience utilizing design-thinking best practices, supporting requirements definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing to deliver digital products and experiences. Ability to work within an agile framework.
Experience using data analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, and qualitative surveying tools.
Superior organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and manage multiple streams within one project and multiple products concurrently.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation); experienced and comfortable working with and presenting to colleagues at various levels, from co-workers to executive management. Strong ability to collaborate and engage with various working styles and personalities.
Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies.
Experience with project management and productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
Financial services experience is preferred.
Prior history supporting or working in Marketing, Service, or Sales is preferred. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Execute on and support the product vision and roadmap in alignment with the Connected Member Experience, e.g. member-centric digital ecosystem, digital journey tied to 360 view of member.
Seek and develop strong partnerships with organizational management, IT staff, outside vendors and consultants to define, plan, develop, implement and support member-facing digital products that delight our customers and align with business strategies/objectives/opportunities.
Execute end-to-end member experiences, drive requirements, assist with building and managing backlogs, and prioritize the work.
Understand member pain points, assist in defining solutions and bring them to life.
Work with a cross-functional team of designers, developers and external partners in an agile environment to deliver on member needs and business objectives.
Perform customer research, product testing, metrics analysis, data insights and experimentation to validate product requirements.
Collaborate with the broader internal teams to ensure that system designs supports a seamless and consistent digital experience across multiple products in alignment with defined UX standards and customer personas.
Promote systems life cycle methodologies, project management techniques, quality assurance and testing methodologies, and enterprise architecture principles.
Collaborate with stakeholders with diverse points of view and maintain grounded and productive discussions to achieve consensus on actions.
Proactively manage expectations through clear and frequent communication among all parties on any particular project, ensuring all are informed of current project status and any potential issues as they arise.
Review, on a consistent basis, existing processes/systems to make recommendations on process improvements.
Maintain records and processes required to keep systems access and data in compliance and assists with responses to compliance audits.
Assist with maintaining and renewing systems licensing and contracts.
