The Apex Center Ice Arena is looking to grow it's team of dedicated Skate Guards! 

We are searching for experienced skaters to monitor public skate sessions for compliance with Arena policies and procedures. This position also provides direct assistance to customers at the front Ice Desk.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

1. Maintain a safe and enjoyable skating environment on the ice.
2. Process revenue through ActiveNet
3. Maintain cleanliness of the ice arena
4. Checking in and out locker rooms
5. Setting up the ice appropriately for activities

Knowledge, Skills, Ability

1. Ability to deal effectively with the public and co-workers in a polite and effective manner
2. Ability to maintain a cash drawer and process payments for services
3. Ability to accept responsibility and direction from Management, Supervisors, or Administration
4. Proficiency as a skater is necessary.
5. Must have CPR, First Aid, and AED certification with documentation or the ability to obtain these certifications within 90 days of hire
6. Promote effective communication skills with fellow associates
7. Minimum age 15
