The Role:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time School Social Worker who will support students at one of our partner Middle Schools. We are looking for a professional who is dedicated to supporting students with special needs so that they can reach their fullest potential. The ideal candidate will be excited to be a part of the community within the school and is passionate about using their skills to make real, positive change.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:10 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: Walled Lake

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting in developing positive behavioral intervention strategies
• Providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student’s success
• Advocating for the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of each student
• Developing strategies to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations
• Collaborating with teachers and IEP team to understand student’s struggles and/or distress
• Maintaining case files and reports to track student’s goals and progress
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, (MSW) required
• MI School Social Work Approval
