Remote Speech Language Pathologist

AnthroMed Education provides the best Speech-Language Pathologists to both public and charter school districts throughout the greater Chicago area. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist who can support in a remote capacity for one of our amazing charter school districts in Lake County, IL.

In this role, the selected candidate will be supporting a wide range of students ranging from K-8th grade. The caseload consists of 35-40 students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role will require the selected candidate to work Monday-Friday doing virtual/remote therapy. This position is starting immediately in January 2024 until the end of the school year!

We'd be happy to introduce you to our current remote SLP who works for this charter and would partner with this SLP throughout the school year.

SLP Job Duties Include:

• Provide Speech-Language therapy services to K-8th grade students.
• Manage a caseload of 35-40 students.
• Complete the required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.
• Work collaboratively to ensure student's needs are met.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
• Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
• Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.
• Other duties as assigned.

SLP Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
• Current and Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
