Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist
The Position:
AnthroMed Education is hiring for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support Pre-K - 2nd grade students in Lansing, IL for the entire 2022-2023 school year. The Speech Path will provide their support and services in one building. In addition to that, the SLP will have their own office space, tremendous support from two other SLPs in the district, and access to a variety of resources provided by the school to utilize.
The caseload is approximately 50 students with mild to moderate disabilities. We are looking for a professional who will be eager to be a part of the community within the school environment and is devoted to utilizing their skills to make real, positive changes in students’ lives.
Hours: Flexible Schedule/Days - 2 days per week

All school holidays are paid breaks for full-time AnthroMed staff. Paid Thanksgiving, Winter, and Springs breaks each school year.
SLP Responsibilities:
Promote a safe and welcoming environment for students
Run individual, small group, and classroom interventions to meet students’ needs
Provide and document direct/consult therapy minutes as required on each student’s IEP
Develop appropriate IEP goals based on formal and informal assessment results
Update progress reports related to IEP goals at the designated times
Attend IEP and team meetings to provide insight and updates on students
Gather and interpret data as it relates to student goals and progress
Collaborate with teachers and other related service providers to identify instructional strategies and accommodations/modifications that promote student success in all content areas
Communicate with staff and parents regularly about student progress, goals, and updates
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
