Anthony J. Madonia & Associates, Ltd. is Hiring a Part-Time QuickBooks Bookkeeper Near Des Plaines, IL

A growing Chicago-area (Des Plaines) law firm specializing in business and corporate law, trust and estate planning, taxation and litigation and dispute resolution is seeking a part-time book-keeper. This position will feature flexible hours (around 15-20 per week).

Position Summary: This position requires outstanding organization, project management and prioritization skills, a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining financial records for corporate clients;
• Prepare financial statements;
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook, others);
• Maintaining various lists including client/return status charts;
• Willing to work as a team player, assist with overflow work and projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a book-keeper, preferably in a accounting or law firm setting;
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software required;
• Ability to work independently and as a team player;
• Strong organization skills and high attention to accuracy and detail;
• Ability to set priorities and manage time to ensure work is timely and efficiently completed;
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately always assuring a top-notch client experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
