Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Corporate Event Expert to lead the Private Events team at the flagship Orlando location

Position Summary:

The Corporate Event Expert is an Event Manager who works as a liaison between the Group Sales and the unit Operations team for an Andretti’s location. They will be the leader in executing event related tasks and initiating communication from the client Point of Contact to ensure perfect execution leading up to and during private events. The person in this position must understand the Andretti brand standard & vision and be able to communicate and inspire all personnel in all departments to buy-in and execute Andretti private events at an extremely high level.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute private events with attention to detail and efficiency.
• Maintain professional communication with the client Point of Contact throughout the booking process, the day of the event, and once the event is complete.
• Develop a relationship with the F&B team and have an in-depth understanding of recipes and execution parameters.
• Review & Develop Banquet Event Orders proactively and communicate expectations and ensure timely set up, staging and room flips.
• Be involved in site inspections and tastings for future events.
• Be knowledgeable and engaged in emerging private event trends.
• Work to support and ensure the smooth flow of the event sales process.
• Work with the location Event Manager on proper staffing standards for events.
• Maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and a high sense of urgency.

Required Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills
• Strong Organizational skills

Preferred and great to have:

• 2-3 years’ experience in event planning and execution with hotel, large scale restaurant or event venue experience is desired
• Experience working with corporate private event clients
• Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff
• Working knowledge of cost controls
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong customer focus combined with a desire to collaborate with others
• Driven ability to problem solve and find creative solutions
• Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous events & projects
