This role will be based out of our Burlington, VT trading office. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about commodity trading/merchandising and many other aspects of our business. If you are good with numbers, highly organized, and thrive in a high-volume fast paced environment - this is the role for you! The job (just the basics): Data entry of contract information, create contract folders and ensure accuracy of files and documents Assist with intermediate accounting functions such as: invoicing, collection, and payment processing Provide logistical support for commodity shipments by rail, truck or barge Help customers by answering questions or resolving issues with payments or shipments Run reports, organize data, analyze and problem solve Support commodity traders and senior assistants with other duties as needed Minimum Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s or higher degree preferred A minimum of 1-year relevant accounting and/or customer service experience Ability to work independently and be self-motivated An ambitious spirit to help drive personal and company growth Strong attention to detail, ability to gather and analyze information 10 key and data entry experience What we offer: The dignity of honest work and that working toward company goals should provide support and opportunity for each member of the organization.
