Product Manager

Location: Remote, East Cost preferred

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are looking to hire a full-time, Product Manager. The Product Manager is a leader with portfolio level responsibility for the solution strategy, product management and the overall market success of Anatomy_IT offerings. This individual is a key contributor to achieving the company’s near term and long-term objectives. The Product Manager will work closely with customers, sales and service delivery leadership and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet the urgent, pervasive, and valuable market problems necessary to be relevant to customers, differentiated from competitors, and highly successful in the marketplace.

Critical Functions:

  • Solution Stack Development - Manage the design, selection, packaging and pricing of product and service solutions in a way that is most compelling for AIT target client profile.
  • Standards and Scalability - Empower service delivery, procurement and accounting through standardization and effective use of integrated tools.
  • Vendor Management – Oversee the management of key vendor and distributor relationships, agreements, certifications and renewals
Solution Stack Development
  • Create and effectively promote a solution strategy that is best in class for our target market and client profile.
  • Oversee a process to maintain currency with solutions (product lifecycle management)
  • Maintain an accurate product and service catalog and associated tools in a way that creates operational efficiency and promotes standardization for sales, service and accounting.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies
  • Develop and maintain Customer/Solution Roadmaps that empower sales and account managers with logical solution paths that drive adoption
    • Assist the sales operation with connecting AIT solutions to unique value propositions.
  • Perform market research, market validation and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for existing and new offerings.
  • Foster close relationships with all key market constituents (customers, non-customers, peer groups, analysts and competitors) to validate product strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop thorough business cases for proposed solutions and initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive analysis, risk analysis, industry best practices and product development (on-boarding) timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service, Support and Accounting teams to ensure go-to-market strategies, plans and activities are aligned with the company’s business drivers/needs and result in customer success.
  • Drive participation and capture input from customers and stakeholders backed by data
Standards and Scalability
  • Build organizational support for good decision-making
  • Drive corporate standards for developing and managing product definition and development at a business and strategic level
  • Promote an effective balance between “staying ahead of the curve” and effectively managing the impact of change to the organization for best long-term profitability and customer experience.
  • Support the process to plan, prioritize and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize revenue and meet operational, financial and corporate objectives.
  • Promote and enable usage of templates, tools and processes that streamline the sales discovery, opportunity closed to service handoff, and procurement/agreement setup transitions.
  • Work with the IMO to seek ways to optimize agreement auditing for customer licensing and components (i.e. – keep the vendor and client invoices in sync).
  • Coordinate with service delivery on skills development strategies so that the product and service catalog changes do not outpace our ability to provide quality service.
Vendor Management
  • In cooperation with procurement and service delivery, optimize vendor relationships and contracts for best in class pricing, lead generation and service delivery support/training.
  • In cooperation with procurement and service delivery, manage vendor agreement renewals/replacement, and associated partner certifications.
  • Establish goals for vendors and evaluate performance against those goals
  • In cooperation with the IMO, oversee and assist with vendor consolidation projects that optimize and streamline purchasing, pricing and solution stack for integration projects

The Product Manager offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company’s ability to grow and beat the competition. Your workload will have a significant variety of work ranging from directing technical research, to conducting business planning, to contract negotiations. The ability to work with teams to achieve goals is paramount and you will have support from leadership that has experience in the industry. Test equipment and test environments will be provided to the extent reasonable to meet the goals.
The Key Objectives of this role are:

  • Documented product and solution stack (product catalog) and associated Customer/Solution Roadmaps.
  • Staff engaged with content that helps them understand the solution stack and roadmaps
  • Documented methodologies for staying current and implementing new or significant enhancements.
  • Significant reduction in non-standard solution stack sales (ultimate goal is zero)
  • Measurable margin improvements through solution optimization efforts
You will also have:
  • 7 years professional experience in an MSP or similar business
  • Experience with IT services in a healthcare setting
  • Experience building and launching products and solutions
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Established record of driving market adoption
  • Strong understanding of sales solution selling
