Professional Services Technician

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Because of our incredible growth, we are looking to add a full-time, experienced Professional Services Technician. Reporting into our Director of Professional Services, you will manage the workstation imaging prep process together with full-prep of new project software/hardware equipment and necessary peripheral devices. This role will manage shipping/receiving of equipment that arrives/leaves our WP/LIC offices together with management of our internal inventory and degaussing hard drives process. Internal audits of systems for Professional Services will be also a responsibility for this role. There will be occasionally onsite installs and delivery of hardware like workstations and network equipment to our client’s offices and other ANATOMY_IT. offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep Work: 
    • Prep workstation with A_IT Standards
    • Maintain and manage the imaging system for workstations
    • Perform full-prep and reconfigurations of new hardware for projects
    • Update Documentation of prepping devices
  • Administration:
    • Degaussing hard drives
    • Receive equipment in the White Plains, NY Office
    • Travel once a week to Long Island City, NY office to receive equipment
    • Coordinate outbound shipping of any products that have to be delivered to our clients
    • Manage internal inventory
    • Manage audits for Professional Services
  • Proactive:
    • Identify better efficiency with our workflows, communicate the need, and proactively implement them with Director of Professional Services approval.
  • Maintain security by ensuring compliance to policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by Director of Professional Services

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A Professional Services Technician who understands that being a strong technical generalist is a must. You will also have:

  • Previous working experience as IT Technician for 2 years
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering or similar relevant field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks
  • In depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Certification as IT Technician will be a big plus like A Network Server
  • Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
  • Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Work under tight deadlines and/or shifting priorities
  • Good technical understanding and expertise in the following:
    • Windows WDS
    • Workstation OS Deployment
    • Public and private DNS
    • Active Directory
    • VPN Configuration
    • Server Virtualizaiton
    • Centralized Device Management
  • Ability to travel to client sites
  • Occasionally work past 5 PM or before 8 AM to complete work tasks; occasional nights and weekend work possible
