IT ACCOUNT MANAGER 

LOCATION: NY METRO AREA 

ANATOMY_IT. is a complete technology solutions provider that is a transformative force in the information technology space. We are a Managed Services Provider (MSP) that provides scalable services to companies in the tri-state area. From managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data backup, and VOIP Services we are committed to being an extension of any company by providing the utmost level of customer service and expertise. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Because of our incredible growth, we are looking to add a full-time, experienced IT Account Manager. As the primary technical and sales liaison between ANATOMY_IT and our clients, you will provide direction to our clients while maintaining client satisfaction and client retention. You are well-versed in cloud technology, operating systems, servers, storage, and networking. Having a technical background and project management mindset is very important in developing a relationship as a trusted advisor to our client. Background in the MSP space is a big plus.

Your responsibilities are broken down into two primary functions:

Relationship Manager & Account Advocate:

  • Meet with assigned clients on a regular basis (in-person as well as virtual platforms)
  • Understand and interpret client needs into an actionable plan
  • Be our client advocate and liaison to all other ANATOMY_IT departments and to other vendors
  • Provide escalation support to all groups
  • Address, track and follow up on all client escalated issues

Client Strategy & Inside Sales: 

  • Cultivate relationships with technical product vendors to build product sales and support capabilities internally
  • Develop and present proposals to client that include our various service offerings
  • Perform research on technologies and solutions using all resources to understand the nuances of different technologies and solutions, especially in relation to client workflows
  • Collaborate internally to create and review client audits and alignment scores; review findings and reports with clients
  • Gather internal and external information to create working budgets with clients on a quarterly and annual basis

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Traveling to client sites and presenting proposals are a part of your DNA. You succeed in diverse environments and never over-promise but always over-deliver. You should also have:

  • Customer-first approach with excellent organizational skills 
  •  4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in an technical role, account management role, or project management role
  • High-level understanding of business technology; good understanding of network topology and its dependencies
  • An active approach to solving problems and receiving feedback
  • Proposal presentations; strong written and verbal communication is expected
  • MSP background is a big plus
