Position Overview
Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our small friendly team in our Norwegian office for a permanent position. The Software Engineer will build out ANAQUA web and desktop applications. The ideal candidate should possess technical skills in fullstack and excellent communication skills. Being a team player is essential to this role.

- Build out ANAQUA web and desktop applications using Scala, Play framework, JavaFX and SQL
- Assist with non-engineering tasks, including technical meetings and working with cross functional groups
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Scala and Play framework
- Experience with full-stack development – front-end through data layer
- Experience in writing and consuming web services -REST
- Experience with SQL
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work flexibly in a highly agile environment
- Ability to work with vague and evolving requirements
- Innovative and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to do research and explore innovative technology areas for the product
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
